Ginger

CEO / Principal Designer / MSD / M.Arch

Ginger is a seasoned professional with over 20 years of experience in interior design, design-build, and architecture, bringing a wealth of knowledge, formal education, and a strong passion for her craft. The studio evokes creative energy that infuses her work, allowing her to form deep connections with her exclusive clients, often learning their most cherished secrets to create truly personalized designs.

Throughout her career, Ginger has been featured in prestigious publications like Modern Luxury Magazine, Discover Magazine, Kitchen & Bath Magazine, and California Homes Magazine, among others. She is not only a designer but the owner of Seaside Drafting & Design LLC, where she applies her architectural drafting/design skills to develop construction documents for homes, hospitality, and other spaces, ensuring they meet city approval for development. Additionally, she co-owns Design Coach Collective, LLP, a venture dedicated to nurturing the next generation of interior designers.

Ginger’s influence extends to academia, where she serves as a college professor in the architecture department, sharing her knowledge and expertise with aspiring designers. She also gives talks on design and build, and has served on the board of the Southern California National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA) and as VP for the Design Board for the City of Carlsbad. Her academic achievements include a Master’s Degree in the Architecture Built Environment with an Emphasis in Sustainability from Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia.

CASSY

Snr. Architectural Drafter

Cassy, our Senior Drafter, brings exceptional expertise, heart, and dedication to our team and clients, with a blend of creativity, technical expertise, and real-world experience, she brings precision and passion to every project.

Cassy earned her undergraduate degree in Interior Design from the Design Institute of San Diego, where she began building her strong foundation in design theory, space planning, and architectural detailing. She continued her education by achieving her Master’s degree in Construction Project Management from the New School of Architecture & Design, San Diego.

Before entering the design world, Cassy proudly served in the United States Navy, working on electrical systems for jets on the decks of aircraft carriers. Her service not only honed her technical skills but also instilled the discipline, precision, and calm-under-pressure work ethic she brings to our team every day. We are honored to have a U.S. veteran shaping our projects with such commitment and integrity.

Cassy is deeply knowledgeable in drafting, design, project management, and the history of architecture, giving her a well rounded perspective that elevates our work from initial concept through final plans. Her ability to merge technical accuracy with thoughtful design makes her an invaluable part of every project that comes through our studio.

Outside the office, Cassy and her husband enjoy life’s adventures with their beloved dogs, traveling, exploring the country, and discovering inspiration wherever the road takes them.

ROSENDO

Jr. Drafter

Rosendo brings precision and a strong technical foundation to every project. As our Junior Drafter, he supports the team with exceptional attention to detail and a deep understanding of building code research, BIM modeling, and construction documentation.

Currently completing his studies in Architecture Design at Palomar College, Rosendo is committed to expanding his knowledge and staying current with industry standards. His academic work, paired with real-world experience, allows him to approach each project with both creativity and technical accuracy.

Before pursuing his career in architecture, Rosendo proudly served in the United States Marine Corps and is now retired from the service as well as worked in construction. His military background, along with the discipline, dedication, and leadership that comes with it, continues to shape his work ethic and contributes to the reliability he brings to our team. We are honored to have a U.S. veteran as part of our team where he brings a fresh perspective to our process.

Emerson

Jr. Designer / 3D Designer

Emerson who has been with the Firm since 2020 is our Junior Designer as well as head of our 3D Department and works closely with our Real Estate Agent Partnership Program. Emerson comes with years of experience in assisting in all aspects of interior design, graphics, and movie motion. Emerson is also proficient in making all the designs come to life by creating 3D spaces. Emerson has a BA degree from Long Beach University.

JIMMY

Landscape Partner | Luxury Hardscape & Planting Expert

We’re proud to partner with Jimmy, a licensed GC landscaper, on all of our exterior projects. With over 20 years of experience in the landscape industry, Jimmy brings a deep knowledge of luxury landscape design, hardscape installation, and plant selection to every job site that we are involved with or construct documents for.

Jimmy is a true expert when it comes to transforming outdoor spaces, from elegant stone patios and walkways to curated planting designs that thrive in Southern California’s climate. His hands-on approach, refined eye for detail, and commitment to craftsmanship make him an invaluable part of our extended team.

Together, we collaborate on full-scale landscaping, from the initial design concept through installation, ensuring each project seamlessly blends form, function, and natural beauty.

Dorian

Warehouse & Delivery Manager

Dorian has been with the team since 2005 and has skillfully moved up in the company. He is well diverse in the procedures on a jobsite and has an active role in support. Dorian is also our warehouse and delivery operations manager. GR Designs has a high standard of excellence and Dorian is always making sure to qc all products and get them to where they need to be safely and on time. On Dorian’s free time he is active in finishing his academics for the fire academy, water polo, surfing, and outdoor activities.
